next shadowrun

Post by HereComesPete »

I'm really trying to focus on the letters here so forgive me if it's not quite legible.

Pretty much as soon as the run that Joose is GMing finishes I'll be starting mine.

Roughly it looks like it's going to be DP's new guy, Joose's fella and a split between the current runners. If anyone is feeling like they maybe want a runner but the rules are a bit much then I'll ask them questions on various things and generate a character for them. I'm currently working on a few story arcs that cover a variety of situations, if you fancy taking part then let me or Joose know and we can organise a split between the players. It's not too complicated once you've read a few pages of the rule book.

<s>I'll</s> Grimmie will make this legible <s>once I'm sober</s> to save me the terrible shame.

Ha! you still managed to get one of the words wrong! :P

Well, I've made a third character, a non-mage this time. So depending on who's playing I can bring in Leland, the other mage Simon, or the new Elf parkour runner/samurai Alvrin.

Well I clearly won't need to roll a backup character...

Whichever you want really.

My first story arc is 3 runs long (at the moment). They will be very much a learning experience for me and will be quite general, bit of everything runs.

After that there's an arc that will be dependent on how many runners there are. Each run focusses on an individual runner and their lives so in that case Tarenish might be better for the role play aspect, entirely up to you though. You may try to get more karma for Leland and get all those extra spells you want and work out more back story for me to exploit.

I've got story runs for Grimmie, DP's new runner and I'm working on Joose's for his fella. Once I know the groupings I can finish the rest.

If anyone truly is thinking about trying a new guy then a few paragraphs of back story that offer more meat than usual makes things better for everyone involved and easier for me. :)

I think I'll take a break from spellcasting then and go for some good old run and cut/gun action. You want his sheet?

There quite possibly is. Anham's off again so we may not see him these next couple of runs.

Have you read the rulebooks and character creation stuff in the wiki Ty? Have a quick look at that, bits such as the sample characters in the rulebook help shape what you want to do.

After that let me know if you've got an idea for a character and we'll get the majic spreadsheets filled in. Then you can kill things with mind bullets or whatever.
