This was interesting. Shame Theroux bottled it and wandered around faintly condemning the people in there instead of asking why they had been kept locked up past their sentence was over.
Yeah the true horrors should stay in there, the guys who admit proudly that they'll touch the kiddies again. But there were dudes in there who'd done things like fucked their fifteen year old girlfriend and been shopped by her parents because he'd just turned sixteen and they didn't like him (or whatever) the fuck should he be kept in there with the monsters? Theroux was fail in this entire episode.

he did fail rather, I think it was kinda a matter that he didn't want to be seen being nice to the nonces.HereComesPete wrote:This was interesting. I loved his earlier documentaries but this just seemed like freak show and little else. I turned it off after 15 minutes.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00k3ms6/Louis_Theroux_Nukes_The_Fridge/

The bits I liked were the bits that reminded me most of the original. Clunes is doing an okay job, Rossiter seemed to go mad a bit too quickly. Also the attractive woman at the office isn't Audrey Roberts.

If that place wasn't across the other side of London I'd go and look at it in person.FatherJack wrote:http://maps.google.com/maps?q=51.520556 ... 1538461585

Not really a new season thing, but meh.
I've just recently started watching Bones, quite enjoying it, not the best thing ever, but a decent watch.
I think I didn't enjoy the pilot or early ep I saw a few years ago, but I've started with season 2, and am enjoying it.
Maybe worth a look if you like castle, I seem to consider them as similar for some reason.

It's less silly and less good than Castle, but I think Castle adjusted my perspective enough to enjoy Bones, all the stars are pretty tasty too, that helpsBaliame wrote:Yeah I've been watching that for years, only decent thing aside from house that reached Hungarian commercial TV. Has some similarity to Castle but I'd say Castle is way better.

hmm...Bones during the first 2 seasons were great, 3rd got silly and 4th I can barely watch. It had an edge when it first started. Really gruesome deaths, violence, seriousness and fresh. Now its just adorable and cutesy /pukeBaliame wrote:Yeah I've been watching that for years, only decent thing aside from house that reached Hungarian commercial TV. Castle is keeping the "adorable and cutesy" to a minimum so far but barley holding it back. Its late night at 10pm here...like Bones started off but moved to an early slot of 8pm since the took out all the cool stuff. We'll see how long it takes them to move Castle to an earlier slot...
