While not officially gold yet.

CoD2 has been confirmed for October 25th, and will be a launch title for the Xbox 360.

EXAGGERATED FACT #1: Microsoft consider games released within six months of console release to be "launch titles", not released on the same day or week.

My Amazon pre-order still shows Nov 4th, which it's done since 27th Aug when I ordered it. Close enough, I suppose.

It now says Delivery estimate: 8 Nov 2005 - 10 Nov 2005

If it's not here by this afternoon I'm cancelling the order and buying it from Tesco on the way home.

Yay! Dispatched yesterday. Hopefully it's sat on my carpet right now. More likely it's festering in some Royal mail depot until monday.
