Windows XP embedded into Windows 7
Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 7 will feature a virtualised Windows XP environment - based on Virtual PC technologies - for backwards compatibility.

It's a sensible move, considering how many people reverted to XP over compatibility issues. However, sensible moves aren't so common, so bravo.
