I already have it, but have been evangelising.
I bought the PS3 version as I know at least two lots of my friends would like it if they only saw it. The first liked it rather a lot, so I need to get another copy to show to my other friends.
Portal isn't as hard as I thought it would be with a joypad, and Half-Life was enough to sell it - didn't get a chance to show them TF2, which I thought would be the clincher.
It's a shame HL:S isn't on there just for the story, although five great games on one disk is quite an achievement in itself.
Portal of course works best if you give them the basics and leave them with it and keep your mouth shut, as I can blast through it in 90 minutes and it makes it look like a short game. The "now you're thinking with portals" video would have been a good inclusion on there, too.

You familiar with Afterworld? Half-Life would work great told in a similar way.

Seemed okay in singleplayer, load times not massively longer than a PC, indeed the initial startup is faster.
Only seen Portal and up to where you jump over the train in HL2, so not anything with massive amounts of enemies or physics. There's a 158MB download patch, which I impatiently didn't apply, dunno if it addresses issues or just adds TF2 maps.
Apparently it's worst in the big battles in Ep2, and when reloading saves - the latter can be avoided by not dying so much.
Given the choice, the 360 version might be a better performer at a slight price premium - though both versions are difficult to source in standard retailers, hinting people are holding onto their copies and playing online. The PS3, with less competition from other online shooters on the system (ie: Halo, Gears) has probably retained more activity online, but sold far less.
But either way, the HL games have been my favourites since they arrived, and it's great that my friends who only have consoles can now see what I've been on about all this time. The demo I forced them to play only had the first few scenes of Ep2, which didn't really sell what a great package the OB is.
