New TF2 update hints at radical game changes

I'm just not very confident that the random weapons will be perfectly balanced, there was enough forum whining about the sandman, backburner/regular flamethower, etc being unbalanced when they came out, and to some degree I could see the arguments for both sides. That was with months of development spent on just a few weapons, and now they're adding dozens or hundreds and it looks like the combinations of bonuses/maluses could be a bit randomised, which wouldn't help with ensuring everything is properly balanced.
