Unexpected family event leads to massive fail :(

Can't make it due to being informed of a wedding I must attend.

Already told prof and johnson that I can't go, sorry guys, one space freed up though.

Are you embarrassed about hanging around with "youths" now?

Yes, but there's always trains. And prof might very possibly get his hands on a car.

Cheers Grimmie, I shall confirm one way or the other in the next day or two, but need to check a couple of things before I can.

Massive fail indeed :(

If train is the only option it shouldn't be too expensive if booked in advance (A few fares I looked at are £7 each way from London)

Hire a car!
Seriously, if anyone is 23 or over you can hire a car from Enterprise for under £11 per day for 3 days over the weekend and it means you don't have to suffer the trains!

Have you checked with your family and fiance that they don't have any Ninja Events planned?

I think Mrs Lat is away that weekend anyway, so pretty sure there'll be no Ninjery, and the family are rather too far away to pop in unannounced - roughly 300 miles.
