The fuck? You think someone is on to us already? How?

Is there any way we could get an encrypted message to N-Zo to get him to check our comms and see if they're compromised? I wonder if someone may be listening in on us
Jon to Leland and Al wrote:Shit listen to me! I'll start banging on about commies soon!
Once we're outside and making our getaway.Al wrote:You might be right, although it might just be the girl's freaky drugs picking up on Leland. She did look out for us though and we're being far more conspicuous than I'd like. I reckon we get the hell out of here and get a message to N-Zo. Fuck if we're compromised or not, wasting time trying to get a message to him without them knowing just compromises us more, and we don't even know where it is he fucks off to when he does his thing. If we are compromised we need to call in the spoof and get off the net now.
Reckon we should catch up to the others since our only comms now will be in person.Al, to everyone wrote:Guys, we think our comms might be compromised. Anyone who can check for breaches, otherwise stay off the net until we're confirmed clear.
Al wrote:I was thinking just catch them up, since we know where they're going. That way we don't have to tell them where we're going to be in clear. You're right about the car though. I know the Barrens a bit from my, uh, teenage years, so hopefully it won't be too hard to find them.
You know, I've had a thought. It might be the guys who hired us keeping tabs and making sure we're not making any fuck-ups.

I think you guys just threw a spazz at Joose making up an amusing way of deject not hooking up with the chick.
Frank wrote:If we're compromised then we're compromised and they know our plans as well as we do, probably better given the apparent confusion. If there's information we need to know then it has to be sent.
Al, Jon, you're eyes on the club with N-zo. If you're heading off then go slow toward the address Nik followed the courier to. N-zo will likely join you after he's finished on the club node.
Keep the limo and the sports car away from this shit-hole of a place, bad enough having a big ass shiny van here.
Frank, to Nik, Chopper and Leland in the van wrote:Right, we're here, we're being watched and that place doesn't fit quite right. Leland, you want to check astral, see if anythings twitchy? Nik, get your fliers up please, start scanning the surrounding area. Chopper, we'll wait for the all clear from these guys then me and you are going to have a chat with those stinky bastards over by the oil drum fire.

The Roadmaster's back doors flick open and both drones shoot into the sky with the buzz of rotor blades slowly fading into the distance. I would use some of the surrounding buildings as cover, or park a little further away, but I think that any activity is going to get us noticed here, quiet or not.Nikolai wrote:Da! Stalin, Lenin, Away!
As it is, I'll flick my LEBDs up and look for exits for the building - once I have them flanked, I'll point my cameras between the windows to try and pick any faces peeking out, checking what the noise is. As soon as I get faces, I'll pass them through the built-in recognition software.

Astrally, the whole place is fucking dull. Not suspiciously so, there's just nothing going on. Apart from you and the guys by the fire, there's no life showing up bigger than a rat, no spells, no astral barriers or dodgy looking spirits hanging about, nada.
The building is three floors high, but the drones can only see through the top too floors windows, as the windows on the bottom floor are boarded up. There's not much to see up there: its all empty rooms, dusty floors and bird poop.
You can, however, confirm that there's no other exits to this place. Apart from the front door, the only way in or out is a door round the back that's padlocked from the outside, and covered in weeds and shit. Clearly not been used for many a year.
You also confirm what deject finds: apart from the fellas by the fire, you seem to be the only people here.

I'll toss my dragonfly out of the window and have it fly over to the building's entrance - I'll use its special weaponry (vibro-pincers, I think?) to make two cuts in the padlock's locking bar.Nikolai wrote:Top floors are clear, comrades.
Ground floor has single entrance, but I cannot see what's inside. Door padlocked from outside.
Move in and be careful, door should be unlocked by the time you arrive.

Meeting was 2 suits and 2 thugs chatting, someones been a bad boy and the Suits want him to step back, and have taken steps to make sure it's done. I'm guessin that may be the location of our missing girl
The response made Chopper look like a Vicar in comparison.
Soon as I get a moment, I'll see what I can do about tracking these guys down and you can go hae a talk, still working on the SIN matches this end

Grabbing his shotgun Frank jumps out the van and strolls past the tramps toward a wall nearby.Frank wrote:Well, either we've been fed a dicky lead or there's more shit going on here than meets the eye.
Nik, you lock up tight after we're out, don't want anyone sneaking up on you whilst we bumble about an empty hovel.
Right, eyes on stalks gents, I'm not at all happy about what Nik is seeing, because he's seeing fuck all.
Chopper, Leland, you two talk to the tramps, I'm going to walk past them ignoring them and position myself on the back wall next to them, just to watch their movements and spook them a bit. Gimme a few secs then follow up.
Lets go gents.

We were given two leads on locations she visits often.
One was the dude who we caught slappin' his meat up, the other was this place.
There must be a good reason for her to visit this place often, and there must be a good reason for someone to want to board the windows up..
Can I try and find an entrance into the building via the upper floors and send my dragonfly down to the ground floor for a little scouting?

Certainly can, there's plenty of nooks and crannies for it to scuttle through.
It makes it into the first floor without issue, but there's not much more to see here than there is from outside. You can see a door at the bottom of some stairs, will take you down to the ground floor. You can't open it (too small to operate a doorhandle), but you could make it underneath the door.
