Dual Spacking

Post by Dog Pants »

The new patch enables dual speckery for high level characters. That is that you'll be able to configure two seperate talent specs and swap between them in certain places. So, as I wait for the flight master to respawn I ponder on what to have as my second spec. It was always going to be resto, as healers are always popular, but after some nice Ally spanking recently and a strong desire to beat the living fuck out of the guy who just left me stranded in the hellhole that is Tarren Mill, I'm wondering if I should have PvP as my second spec.

What are you guys thinking for the whole dual spec thing?

Since my main spec is tank, my dual spec will be dps for those fights that need less tanks. Or if I end up tanking all the time I'll use a slightly modified spec for Threat as opposed to the survival one I have now. Paladin will be ret/holy as that's useful.

Remeber it costs 1K to get the dual specability thing!

I've not even logged into game post patch - give it a few days for addons to update and server to settle down.

I don't think the patch has hit yet, I'm just thinking ahead. Costing a grand is just another money sink really, no real need for it but not a huge problem.

It hasn't? I've been away for a couple of weeks, just noticed all my addons spacking out when I ninja logged this morning and assumed it'd patched.

I haven't heard anything, and I haven't needed to respec, ans I still need a flint and tinder for a campfire, so I'm assuming not.

They appear to have preloaded patch to some degree, but not released.

Most likely my DK will end up with a DPS spec (I already have most of the gear anyway) to compliment my tankyness.

and my warrior will end up Tank/DPS, if I ever get him to 80, anyway.
