I'm knocking one up right now in Java. It's good practice for me anyways because we're covering GUIs right now and I need a lot of practice with them. I'm customizing it for our SLA and Shadowrun usage, so when it's done I can put it up for everyone if you guys want.

Records show the squad consisted of four members:

Tycho – SCL 10A.8, Human, Kick Murder, Squad Leader.
McAllen – SCL 10A.8, Frother, Death Squad
Rossi – SCL 10A.8, Human, Strike Squad
Melody – SCL 10A.8, Ebon, Scout

They had been on a White from what you can find, looking for a black marketeer who had been believed to be supplying local Props. Shivers found the body of Melody in the corridor of a Downtown apartment building after residents reported heavy gunfire. Forensic reports from the scene and Melody’s autopsy reveal an attack with DarkNight ARs firing 10mm HESH. Some fire was returned, but by the pattern of damage to the walls it looks like it was mostly ineffective. The Records show that amongst the squad, now unaccounted for, were 4x FEN 603s, 2x FEN ARs, a KPS Mangler, an SP Vibrodisc and a Power Claymore, as well as two suits of Blocker and a suit of Exo. Also, recent computer activity by the squad reveals a search for the address of Adrian Ordley, which coincides precisely with the last known location of 10,000 Rads.

Ive tested the WoTC roller (in a moment of extreme boredom) as I was a bit suspicious about how random it actually was. On a sample of 41000 dice rolls, the average roll was 5.4. There was no noticeable trend in rolls either, doesn't go measurably up or down.

I suppose, *technically* that means the rolls are ever so slightly weighted towards the higher rolls, but no so as you would notice.

Having said that, a custom made SLA dice roller could be handy. :)

EDIT:oops, missed a 0 on the number of rolls...

Swing is easy, it's all objects, and appling the objects to the container via a .add command, hardly difficult.

Yeah I've thrown together some stuff already though it's very rough.

Can someone split off the bit about my dice roller and possibly merge it with the other thread I have or something?

Anyways, I want to look up this Adrian Ordley.

I don't think we have a merge function until we're on bb3. If you want it cleared up I think the only way at the moment is to copy/pasta the posts to the other thread and delete them from here.

I can only split it into a thread of it's own.

Deleting them works for me too I guess. Or we can move on it doesn't matter to me. I just want to carry on!

Phoebe says wrote: Hey there boys, I got your card and I am definately in on this if you want me.. and I think you do. Let me tell you a little about myself.

I am trained in the kick murder squad and mostly specialise in martial arts and hand to hand combat....which is..ahem why some of you have noticed I am so fit. I am very athletic and rely a lot on sleek movements and of course my beloved gash fists.... and yes that's plural. Those of you who haven't noticed me around will surely be won over by my persuasive and seductive personality.

I look forward to working with you all and getting to know you better... let me know if you would like to know anything more about me *wink*

Yay! I'm here. Guide me oh wise ones :p

OK, well I think we should all head over to Mr. Risikko's office and on the way Dirk can pass on our new 5quadmate's names and IDs to our financier Haynes so you'll officially be in the squad. Wasting time on these Whites is never a good idea.

There's a little notice on the water fountain at work that says..
"SLOPS ARE NOT TO BE EMPTIED IN THE DRIP TRAY."

Makes me chuckle and think of SLA every time.. Sigh.

Sorry guys, was working late on tuesday night and was at a brewery last night*.

Welcome Punkchuck, I take it you sorted your character out? If you haven't already done so could you get a copy to me (I've not checked my email in a few days)? Cheers.

I've not got my BPN at work, but I'll take a stab anyway from what I remember. Deject's search on Ordley reveals him to be a 26 year old unemployed Downtowner with a string of old offences consisting of public order and petty theft. Nothing on his rap sheet for about 5 years though. There's an address for him.

Making your way over to Central again, you reach Risikko's office. It's plush in typical Central style, and he seems to have a thing for the Wraith Raider homeworld of Polo, as there's a number of pictures of it on his wall. It's unlikely anyone other than Deject would recognise the planet though. Risikko himself is a thin and fairly old man with an air of seriousness. Anyone who so desires can make detect and CONC rolls for the chance of a special prize.

*Theakston's, and it was awesome. They hadn't heard of Pete though (who worked in the brewery across the road), which in reflection is probably a good thing.

Grimmie gives a little nod and smile to Phoebe and politely introduces himself, hoping that she didn't have a thing for ebons, like every other woman in the world of progress seemed to.

Can't he tell us what we need to know over the phone?
PRIZE?! I LOVE PRIZES!

Is anyone else worried for a female squad member in a team led by Dirk?

Wrong brewery! Well, my sisters husband works there so I guess you paid some of his wages with the beer drinking. It's all good. Theakstons best bitter is pish though imo, not even slightly bitter. XB and black bull are good session drinks.

Did you go to the red lane brewery/visitor centre or the white bear pub?

I think you need to go to black sheep and drink that too. :ahoy:
