Games out this week!™ Ending FRIDAY THE 13TH (again.)

Post by TezzRexx »

Resident Evil 5 (360/PS3)
Forget the racism and control controversy, the real tragedy here is making Resident Evil seem dull.

Trivial Pursuit (PS2/Wii/360/PS3)
Surely EA would've been better off making this a downloadable title?

Persona 4 (PS2)
The best Japanese role-playing game for years proves that it's not HD gaming you need but HD imagination.

Sonic And The Black Knight (Wii)
A follow-up of sorts to Sonic And The Secret Rings. But has everyone given up hoping for a new "proper" Sonic game?

EVE Online (PC)
The Elite style massively multiplayer online game plus its new expansion.
(Is this that huge new update? Where you can walk around and things?)

Bleach: Dark Souls (DS)
Treasure's second anime tie-in looks set to be the best 2D beat 'em-up on a portable. Just like the last one.

SOCOM: Confrontation (PS3)
Not even America liked this version of the online shooter, which probably explains why we're getting it so late.

MySims Party (Wii/DS)

EA clone Mario Party. You'll recall a MySims kart game is also due soon.

Suikoden Tierkreis (DS)
The fan favourite role-player returns with an alternative universe spin-off. (Tierkreis is the German for Zodiac.)

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix (PC/DS)

Puzzle Quest: Challenge Of The Warlords was a Bejeweled clone in a fantasy setting. This is a Sci-Fi Hexic clone.

Monster Jam: Urban Assault (multi)

More cheapo drivel from Activision, there's also Secret Service this week.

Enchanted Folk/School Of Wizardry (DS)

A terrible name (it's Magician's Quest in the US) but this looks a fun mix of Animal Crossing and Harry Potter.

Codename Panzers: Cold War (PC)

If this is set after WWII presumably it doesn't have any Panzers in it. Still, it looks an engrossing strategy game.

Grey's Anatomy (Wii/DS)

You've seen the show (well, we haven't) now play the game.

Millennium Paintball 2009 (multi)

So let's get this right: Activision chose to publish this, but not Activision, Brutal Legend or Riddick?

It's an Edge 7, nothing seriously bad I'm sure. I won't be buying this, however, as I'm shit at Resi games.
