Apologies from me. I meant it in jest but I seem to have pissed you off and for that I'm sorry tezzles.TezzRexx wrote:I don't mind taking half exp. and little/no monies seen as I did miss a lot, joined in pretty much half way through and took my time replying. I did enjoy it for the most part though after I got involved.
I would like to play again however I wasn't too keen on Pete's comment, really fucked me off to be honest as I thought I was doing okay role playing wise and the KT's help would of been of benefit.
Also next time I won't join in half way through as I was waiting still waiting for the internets to arrive and we'd already gotten onto page 10.

Dont think I can add anything that hasn't been said already, so I'll just voice my agreement.
Well done doggers, it was a bit different to the norm (which is always good) and it totally didn't show that you were winging it.
Well done guys, I think Grimmie is right: forumised RPG'ing certainly lets more of the characters actual character come out, and it was fun to see.
Well done Tezz, you dived straight into one of the hardest parts of RPing, and did bloody well at it. Only thing that let you down was the late start, so im looking forward to what you get up to next time.
Finally: new character has been selected from my library, and I'll wing it over to pants tonight. You will all be glad to hear that he is less...abrasive. Should still be interesting though!
MOAR GAEM PANTS, MOAR!

I have to point out that IC you lot came across as a bunch of high-and-mighty fecks as much as we came across as psychos with the repeated 'But youre newbies' comments.deject wrote:It's a shame mephit was a bit of a dick
As for the accent, no the next character doesn't have one, but I think he will do well enough to act as interesting for the team to play with.

We wouldn't have even bothered if they hadn't stolen Dirk's gear. To be honest my character doesn't care for crazies or assholes too much, and Toast certainly filled that criteria. Mephit got the flak by association mostly. I was planning to become more accepting after enduring some combat together and such.
edit: I also have to say Tezz probably chose the hardest path for these sorts of games because the more combat-oriented types are pretty cut & dried, talking to people and all that takes more skill on the part of the player. Next time I'm sure he'll have more of a chance to participate. Dirk is the only other one in the group with any social skills at the moment, and the rest of us have shown how relatively inept we are at interview/interrogation. Sure it's not as intense as combat, but I like it just as much.

*points at the bit where Toasts "interaction" got the kid pointed out to us by the stall guy*deject wrote:Well you guys were straight out of Meny, and displayed no ability to interact with people.
Interactions don't have to be nice to be effective, you know.
If I had rolled *anything* higher than a 3 on my second attempt to wallop you, you would likely be an SCL 8 corpseAs evidenced by you getting killed on your first outing because you tried (and succeeded yes) to screw us over.
There's a reason I'm almost SCL 8.

I've already raised my complaints about that scenario with Dog Pants, and I'm not going to go on about it. It was an unfair ambush set up by the mechanics of doing this on a forum. It's not anyone's fault, but I was not working of the complete picture, which meant I couldn't properly make decisions.Joose wrote:
