Theres a new cinema opened in Leicester, with a "posh" screen. Its a tiny bit extra, but has considerably less noisy twats, serves alcoholic beverages and has digital projectors (which look fucking awesome. Its basically HD for cinemas.)

It also (for me at least) has the advantage of my mrs not being concerned for the neighbours and therefore turning the volume down every time anything loud happens, resulting in an argument about not being able to hear it every time it goes back to the talky bits. Also, she's less likely to talk all through the film, or get bored and start wanting to show me stuff on her laptop. Finally, she is less likely to say "I don't feel like a film, lets just watch Friends for the millionth time".

Cinemas in Belgium are the same really (probably everywhere around the globe), but luckily enough we found a cinema that's been in existence since 1914, it's very small and only has two small theatres*, which is a bit of a drawback, but it has a bar where they serve drinks in glasses, and you're not allowed to take them in with you, so no sticky floors/seats.

*Is theatres an accepted word? FF spellcheck doesn't seem to like it.

HO HUM, major errorz there.

Buried in the back of Hell, aka the new shopping center. Its quite nice, certainly better than Odeon.

Well, yeah, trapping your balls in a car door is better than the Odeon.

God, this gives me the rage. When will there be a standard fucking volume?

I pretty much agree with Joose. I like the massive screens and loud noises, enough to pay cinema prices as a treat, but the annoying bastards you get in most showings limit me to when I'm prepared to go. So I very rarely do, especially since I've not lived within about 40 miles of one for probably 8 years now.

Generally the only cinema visits I made were late night classics being shown mid-week. Watching old star wars or scarface or goodfellas films that were remastered, almost on my own at midnight in Newcastle odium was great. Shame it got bought out and now costs even more money to see a film. And they stopped late showings. Bunch of money grabbing cunts.

I watched 30 Days of Night the other, decent film but couldn't understand a word that Josh 'Mumbles' Hartnett was saying. Turned the volume up, 10 seconds later "RAARGHARHGARAHRHARGARHARBANGSPLATTHUDSCREAMMURDER"

Fucking E4 have a lot to answer for.

On the transformerers front. I have seen some trailers and they are looking wanktastic, not sure how they can have devastator when one of the constructacons that make up devastator (bonecrusher I believe) ended up on the buisiness end of Primes sword - which incidentally we never saw again, even when he was getting ass raped by megatron. Not worring too much, big wheely robot smashing stuff up, sounds good.
Heard rumours of Ultramagnus being around in this film too, interesting to see if Hot Rod makes an appearance - if so could indicate a third film (the death of optimus and the birth of rodimus prime) Also heard that there are a lot more bots in this one.

Good. As much as I dislike liking sheer the beef and as much as I love perving on the fox this a film about big stompy robots. The first one failed miserably with the amount of huge fights between massive angry metal things.

Only thing that got me back to the cinema was...Dark Knight in IMAX. I had perfect seats...if I didn't, I would never go back. I'm going saturday to see Watchmen in IMAX. :ahoy:

It'll never be as good as the 1986 animated movie.
