I did and I don't regret it. Someone's offering a free 14 day trial on another thread somewhere (the Eve buddy programme I expect). You could always give it a go and see if you like it.
Also, 5punkorp's getting more interesting by the day at the moment thanks to some enterprising members so it's a good time to get involved.

Last time i tried it, some arsy cutscene filled crapness angered me.
