Games out this Week: Ending Friday 6th Feb 2009!!

Post by TezzRexx »

Chrono Trigger (DS)
The holy grail of 16-bit role-playing comes to Europe, with this slightly enhanced version of the SNES classic.

We Cheer (Wii)
Hardcore gamers certainly won't, in this latest cheerleading simulator.

Pikmin (Wii)
The New Play Control! version of the GameCube real-time strategy, re-released with new pointer controls.

Castlevania: Order Of Ecclesia (DS)
The best 2D Castlevania since Symphony Of The Night, even though it's still basically the same game.

Battle Fantasia (360/PS3)
A new 2D beat 'em-up from the creator of Guilty Gear. It looks great too.

Time Hollow (DS)
A spiritual sequel to adventure Shadow Of Memories by the same writer and with a similar time-travelling plot.

Cooking Mama 2: World Kitchen (Wii)
The fiery-eyed cook makes a second trip to the Wii, with more cookery themed mini-games but little practical advice.

Lost In Blue 3 (DS)Can Konami finally perfect the Robinson Crusoe sim?

Burnout Paradise: Ult. Box (360/PS3/PC)All the free content so far, a smaller price tag and instant race restarts makes for this gen's best arcade racer.

Rise Of The Argonauts (360/PS3/PC)
From the maker of Desperate Housewives The Game comes this attempt to mix God Of War with some light role-playing.

Mystery Case Files: MillionHeir (DS)
If you saw Interpol on Xbox 360 this is the same sort of virtual Where's Wally?

Age Of Empires: Mythologies (DS)
Ensemble Studios may be no more but its back catalogue is still being plundered in this turn-based strategy.

Loving the new captions Tezz. Does anyone know anything about Lost In Blue? Sounds like it could be interesting.

Cheerleading sim? They're either really running out of ideas for the wii, or you are making up games :P
