konfabulator

Post by Joose »

Ive just started using this rather handy thingy. Its dead good.

Any chance, Mr Technical People, of the scheduler having an RSS feed? Then I could get the scheduled games on my desktop!

The 5cheduler requires you to log in to view it, which might be an issue, but it's a good idea.

Anyone know any decent info/sites for RSS feeds?

Arses, I've only just uninstalled that. An RSS feed might be a good idea though, and I'm sure there's a way to make it user-related. I'll see what I can do.

Why isn't the 5cheduler public to view anyway?

Thinking about it, I can;t think of a reason to not have it public.
It might of been because of going back a long time ago, we were running out of slots on the CS:S server, but I don;t think we need to worry about that now narf

It's mainly a security thing, to make sure nothing can be sumitted if you're not logged in. I'll have a go to making it a bit more public though.

Never used Konfabulator but I did run Samurize for a while, that was pretty good, I got carried away though and ended up with so many add ons and bits that reported useless info to me it took up the whole of my second monitor.

I had to go cold turkey and just turn it off!!, although the bit I designed to report my Azureus torrents info was cool*...

Maybe I need to get Konfabulator to fill my desptop anew!, ooh look I could have webcam images from Oregon, or an interactive labrador, or a clock counting down to the release of the movie 'Rent'... wtf!!?!?

*(maybe I could do a whole 5punk themed Samurize setup, hmm thinks...)

I cannot stand things like konfabulator. Apparantly though I'm the only one who hates konfabulator with a passion...

to be honest, i only got it so i wouldnt keep forgetting to read ctrl-alt-del and penny-arcade. I then got carried away, and now have a second monitor covered in clocks, rss feeds and winamp controlling thingies

Huzzah.. Mozilla users (and probably others) can now click the Feed icon in the bottom right of the window to 'Subscribe'.

This will add the Feed to your Bookmarks as a list. Trendy.
