Spec me a laptop, bitches.

If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

Right, Looking for something under £500, ideally capable of some gaming, battery life isn't a massive concern.

Best I've found so far is the Asus X59SL-AP338C, any other ideas?

That's quite cheap for something most manufacturers put in the their big, high-priced laptops.

How about a Sony VAIO NS20EP ?

The NS20E looks okay, but I'm wary of intel GMA stuff, given it's shit.

yeah if you want to play any games made since ooooh, 1997 the Intel GMA is pretty worthless. I can play Fallout 1 & 2 on my Eee, and that's about it.

Some serious suggestions, which sadly aren't pink.

Acer Aspire 6930g
Acer Aspire 5920G
There's a Samsung R505-FA03UK with AMD, for some reason the Intel equivalent has an Intel GPU.
Also some HP/Compaqs, but the GPUs aren't so good.

Cheers, looks like the asus just noses ahead of all of them still.

My budget takes that into account, any more discounts can take a long time to come through.
