Skate 2 (360/PS3)
Activision's least favourite video game gets a sequel, but will it be another revolution - or just an evolution?

Tomb Raider: Underworld (PS2)
Lara's latest, but not necessarily greatest, finally comes to the PS2.

My Fitness Coach (Wii)
As far as we can gather this doesn't use the Balance Board, it's just a sort of interactive get fit video.

Football Manager Live (PC)
Reviewed today, the football-themed spreadsheet steals even more lives by going massively multiplayer online.

Jeep Thrills (Wii)
It might be a rubbish straight-to-video racer, but we love the name.

AC/DC Live: Rock Band (PS2)
Nothing more than thinly veiled song pack, this isn't a patch on the band-specific Guitar Hero games.

2009: Rubbish for Games (PC/360/PS3/Wii)

The one game I'm really interested in for 2009, Ghostbusters, is previewed in Edge and they slagged it off a bit. Lacklustre voice acting and toned down, family-friendly content doesn't sound to promising to me either. :(

Lack of hype will hopefully yield some unexpected stars.

I'm thoroughly looking forward to Empire Total War, out in March ish. Pretty niche stuff, but for those who like strategy games (Civ style, not RTS click fests), it's shaping well.

Bah, I'm just happy for a ghostbusters game. There's only been one decent one, and that was "NEW! Ghostbusters 2" on the NES...

I think you'll find that the original Ghostbusters game was rubbish, in cold light of the present. I still played it a lot at the time though.

Fix'd :)

Remember, I still own a few C64's, and have emulators. It's honest to god, still fun.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that the Resident Evil 5 demo comes out on the 26th, having played the sneaky Japanese coppy I can tell you it does indeed rock the big one.

Reading a bit more about Ghostbusters it seems the DS version (yes, it's coming out on every platform) will have the equipment management aspects similar to the 8bit version.
