and how short do you want the rounds to be?

Our usual is 5 minute rounds and a 20 minute time limit on each match.

Given you've complained about it lasting forever and asked for 8 rounds, I can only assume you want maps to last less than 20 minutes, so that's at *most* 2:30 a round.

but, if that's what you want...
you make nonce sense!

If it is currently set to 20min rounds, lets make it 10 or 15 mins instead.

After a bit of a debate, grim & i think that short maps would be good to prevent things getting too boring.
If a map isnt played enough, we can always come back to it with a mapvote.

So, we suggest that each map has 6 rounds. Each round with a maximum time limit of 5 mins.

So the maximum time on a single map would be 30mins, but its more likely to be much less as rounds mostly finish in less than 5 mins.

If anyone has any arguments to the contrary, speak now! go!

PS, Proposed list for map cycle:

de_chateau
de_piranesi
cs_havana
de_train
cs_compound
de_aztec
de_prodigy
de_tides
cs_militia
de_port
de_inferno
de_nuke

cs_assault is the one with the big warehouse with the T's inside and the hossies in the small office, as long as that doens't make it into a map list I'm happy, as I really dislike it, it's such a badly planned out map.

Hmm. I think I could be persuaded to play CSS. It's like a sensible version of TEEf, right?

You do have to buy your guns though. Although to save wasting loads of time to start with just auto-buy, press then [A] as a shortcut. You get more money for kills and stuff.

would be more appealing to me, and maybe 18 minute map timer, the 6 rounds thing sucks.

I hate to say it, but I think we need to aquire about 5 of the top community maps and whack them into the cycle, the standard maps are good, but when you and everyone else has played them a bazillion times, some new ground to spill blood upon would be nice.

No, I'm not doing it as I've got no idea where to look for the maps now.

You don't play anyway! :P

Tonight was okay given the low numbers. Berk and I had a drunken scout fest. Then some random joined who was shit and tried swapping to the winning team. Then another one joined and face raped everyone.

Also - Prof managed to fuck up his timings and turn up an hour early and then leave before everyone else joined. Well done proffles!
