Robert Llewellyn of Red Dwarf fame is having a major fit about that review.

Hmm, his rants are partially incorrect as well, as soon as the bigger countries move onto renewable energy, the requirement to produce hydrogen will be cheap.Grimmie wrote:Robert Llewellyn of Red Dwarf fame is having a major fit about that review.

Take Iceland for example (the country), due to a massive amount of their electricity coming from geothermal sources (and dirt dirt cheap per unit), they've been slowly introducing hydrogen fuel stations across the country, when I went to Reykjavik the other year I was driven past a Shell station with a hydrogen pump. They've been planning on hyrdogen cars for years and have a lot of the infrastructure in place.
Once countries start adopting renewable energy as a mainstay, as there is no fuel cost, it becomes much cheaper (in theory), so endevours like that are made possible.
Was an alright episode tho

I enjoyed that one. Star in car bit is taking longer and longer and unless they get the fry on I don't really care who's failing around the track. I want to see more stuff smashed, more stupid things with that v8. Fiesta last week was win, tesla this week was good. That honda looks shit, the hydrogen bike looks a lot better.

Why the fuck didn't they spend more time talking to jay leno and looking at his fucking amazing car collection!! I spotted a few cars that have only a handful of extant copies remaining, and they just panned around the room and left. (me with a petrol head boner that is)
Llewellyn - like him a lot less now he seems to be some rabid blank headed bad grammar fool.
Hoping the post xmas day one is the usual epic trip somewhere silly to do more silly.

Fly to 'nam, buy one for not much dong, take to bits and fly it back!Sol wrote:It made me rage at the start when he was throwing it about.
That's would cost like, £5000 in the uk.
That episode was excellent. The music was aces, the scenery was amazing and I now want to go on a bike holiday in 'nam, I would probably get a less shitty bike however.

Yeah the sound guy for Top Gear is always spot on. Regularly hear Boards Of Canada, Mogwai, (Instrumental) Beastie Boys, Elbow amongst others
