Leland slips three cans of foam and a tazer into his coat pockets.

I'll grab a tazer, because I can.

Also, Joose, do you require us to tell you whenever we're using the perception skill or is it passive? Different GMs do it different ways - as I expect you've noticed I generally give players actively using it useless information and rely on making the rolls for them in secret, but that's just me. Other GMs won't give the players anything unless they ask for it.

nope, not a thing.

A bit of both. If its something like "have you noticed the hueg invisible Bandersnatch following you about" (which none of you did) I'll do the rolls myself. If its something like having a closer look at tellies, I'll wait until you ask to do it.

Mostly similar to you, really. But if people actively use it and score well I might give them some more info that they wouldn't get otherwise.

Also: Its worth remembering that the SR rules actually differentiates between passively noticing something and actively inspecting something. You get a bonus for the latter, but it takes time to do.

oh fuck me, it just dawned on me that the bandersnatch was probably that disembodied voice from the very start. and here was me thinking it was some kind of spirit.
Leland wrote:Christ, I've just realized something. I bet you almost anything that the bandersnatch you guys just bagged was the voice we heard in the offices upstairs. The damned thing must have spotted me when I went in there astrally from the very start. You forget just how clever these damned beasts are.

In that case I'll take a look too if we haven't moved on, although I doubt I can compete with Frank's cyber senses.

Perception = 3, Intuition = 4, 3 hits for 10.

I won't hold us up if we're moving out though.

I won't bother with a Perception roll, and I'll leave the taser things to you guys - I'm probably bugger all use with them.

DP, with most skill tests your score is just the net hits, you don't add in your Skill+Attribute rank. The only time you do that is for initiative, I'm pretty sure.

And you don't see anything of note on the screens.

Rolling out I guess.

Does anyone want to check that 'eyes of the demon' room where I lobbed that grenade? I reckon it might be quite interesting.

If that fab stuff is still there then you can't anyway, it might hurts you bad.

I could wander in with you guys watching the feed from my gun cam or cyber eyes (I'm fairly sure), I can broadcast video to your pans, not sure how many though. As for the stench, I'll not breathe and use my artificial lung so it doesn't get to me. I need to head upstairs and make the rolls I need to rig the lift shaft, we've got about 30-40 mins left, that's not long really.

I'd rather we just left and got a good distance away so we can watch the boom. There's not going to be anything of much value to us in there and I am about to fall over again, so I'd rather just take the tazers and foam and leg it.

Infiltration (3) + Agility (5) = 8

3 hits (jesus fucking christ, 3 is my lucky number and all, but the amount of times it crops up is just obscene).

3 does seem to be a common number, though since a lot of our skill + attribute dice pools are in the 8-9 range it makes sense.

Ah, okay. I'm finding it difficult to learn this system from playing on the forums. Not that it matters, I'm outclassed in about 90% of the stuff I do.

Maybe joose will give us a talky one next (if we ever get out) and frank and chopper can stand around in ill fitting suits looking all uncomfortable whilst you chat up all the ladies. I may have to get some sort of x-ray vision attachment to lessen the boredom if that happened.

You're assuming that deject hasn't managed to knock himself out with nonce type magic by that point.

Leland is only good at negotiating. Other than that he's not any good in social situations.
