You burst into the room, axe/guns at the ready. Theres nowt in it.
Well, more accurately: The room is a large white cube, with two chairs roughly central in it. Across the walls are holographic displays showing parts of the facility. Some of these are just blank squares, and others have "error" in big red letters across the middle.
The ones that are still working (about a third of them) show some empty corridors, the basement area, the corridor that you were just fighting in, the lift shaft and the entrance to the underground part of the facility up in the warehouse. There also seems to be a display of something that looks kinda like a H.R. Geiger painting that someone has thrown up on. You don't recognise where it is, but there seems to be a small fire in it. There's no movement on any of the screens, apart from some dripping blood in the corridor and the aforementioned fire, and what looks like a maintenance drone gently bumping up against a closed door in one of the corridors.
In the corner of the room, to the right of the door, is some kind of locked cabinet. Under the main cabinet is some shelving, with what looks like cans of shaving foam or deodorant. All of the cans are marked "M59-P Marker".

Editz - talked to joose and looked in the core rule book, it's really vague on forcing doors.Frank wrote:Think I'll jimmy this locker open and see if we can get some stuff to sell.
He decided on strength + body +/- modifiers.
So - target of 3
Strength 12 (chisel doubles it) + Body 6 = 18
8 hits
Cabinet door is history!
Frank wrote:Leland, you're good with chems and such, what do you make of the spray cans? Al, any ideas on the displays? Anything we could gain an advantage from? Or easier to leave them be?

At Frank's suggestion, Leland picks up one of the cans and looks at its ingredient list.Leland wrote:I'll bet you all a hundred nuyen that's what's in that big middle room.
Chemistry (6) + Logic (5) - Stun Dmg Modifier (2): 9 dice
I get 3 hits. (5,4,2,5,3,2,1,4,6)
Also, I'll try an Assensing test.
Assensing (4) + Intuition (4) - 2: 6 dice
I also get 3 hits. (5,1,2,6,6,4)

Chemistry 4 + Logic 4 -1 stun = 7Frank wrote:You'll not get any money from me on that wager dude.
Think I'll get a rip of these screens with my eye recording units. I like to collect pictures of the fucked up shit I've seen.
Hey, toss me a can over and I'll have a look. I'm not too bad at chems myself, mostly ones that go boom mind.
3 hits.
I'll make a roll to see if I spot anything on the screens too.
Intuition 4 + Perception 3 = 7
+4 cybereyes +2 actively looking = 13
5 hits.
Joose, what's in the locker? And in the cans? And anything on screen?

Between the two of you, you work out that the cans contain a coloured expanding foam. Apart from being quite sticky, it doesn't seem to "do" anything, apart from foam up and be brightly coloured.
You don't really see anything more on the screens, there's not a lot happening on them. Also, they are kinda grainy and fucked up, years of no maintenance in an unpleasant environment has not been kind to them.
The Assensing doesn't tell you a lot, other than something has spent a lot of time in here. From the slightly unpleasant smell, the filthy floor and the kinda familiar aura, it seems most likely that it was the Bandersnatch.
In the locker, there's 4 guns! They are modified Defiance Shocker tazers, with attachments on the bottom to fit those foam cans into. They also look like they will pack more of a punch than the standard model.

Seeing as how the last roll was focussed on the screens I think I'll make a roll to see if I can see or hear anything in the room that's out of place, like strange airflows, almost inaudible beeping, false walling hiding gold pressed latinum etc. Just in case Joose is being tricksy again.Frank wrote:Hmm, tazers. Modified too, looks like they've been up-volted, good craftsmanship on the upgrades.
Fuck knows what this foam does. My guess is they used them to slow and subdue the ghouls. Squirt them with the foam, pop them with the juice. Might as well take them and try one out. Anyone who doesn't want one, stick it in my backpack, we'll get a good deal on them from that dick of a boss of mine.
