5punkorp

Post by centerededgedesign »

5punkorp is once again NOT part of an alliance. There just wasn't any delivery on the promises from our hosts, so once they wanted a quarter billion for rent (that we were told we wouldn't have to pay when the arrangements were made), we pulled out.

So, the plan for the time being is: BE 5PUNKY! No worries, just go back to mining and missioning and building stuff and trading and making isk to get more cap bpo's for the ultimate goal. In the last day alone the corp made 30 mil off cyno's, so going to produce those ALOT and see how long that trend holds.

Mins to isk is still alive and well.

Wanting a corp 'page' where members can see at a glance what others have been up to. Kinda like a 'kills' page, but where they coud maybe post how much ore they'd mined, or lp earned for a week. Since asteroids and agents don't produce 'killmails', not sure how that would work. Any thoughts?

With the summer winding down, school in full swing, and things settling down at che Dres, time to get 5punkorp back in order and making progress on our goal of building REALLY BIG SHIPS. I want a carrier or five and a rorq for some huge mining ops!

A wiki might be the best answer - link it into the 5punk wiki or something?

I thought i would add that i have a rorq bpo currently being researched with jack slaide at the mo. In case you did end up think about making one - also its kinda a corp/spear's BPO. i am hoping to research it for a while as most bpc's seem to be ME1 - it takes 6.5 weeks for one ME lol :-) i think it is having ME2 applied to it at mo.

Is spunkorp still active? I`ve just started playing eve again after a fairly long brake (about 18 months or so) and have applyed to join, but not heard anything back for a few days.

Pnut 5punk is effectively dead although there are a few players hanging around. They log in sparcely at best. I did see your application but had not had a chance to catch you in game to give you the update. There are 4 semi-active members all doing their own thing. Still interested?

Make sure you're in X-5punkers channel. Both Jimmy and I still play fairly regularly, and eRabbit logs in from time to time. You'll also see Stins/Bfm in there who, though technically not a 5punker in the forum sense, is a long term 5punky friend in game.

If you want something more active than just mooching around solo (which can be done in or out of 5punkorp), or carebearing it up, then give me a shout and I can perhaps get you a reference to a number of different corps.

I finally got around to dropping in on the RAGE public channel. Very nice group. Were all smiles about welcoming in a new person. That may be an option Pnut. I still have not given up hope for 5punkers though. I and Brubeck are trodding a bit in CVA territory. If you are mining the corp is still buying minerals. And if you need a bit of pvp the VA gangs have been friendly to others.

To be honest, im mostly just mining at the min and i`d rather be doing it for a purpose than just by self and flogging the minerals to randoms

I hope to have some serious game time on Saturday so hopefully i can catch you in game. Corp is buying mins if i did not say that and check the corp mails for CVA space rules. I am looking into some long term goals for us also.

To be honest, I'm only really logging in every so often at the moment to continue changing the X-5punkers MOTD to insult people.
