It is indeed a common problem. they even call it the "ping999" problem on the forum. Something to do with ports, like you say. I occasionally get one or two people like that when im on a server. Wierdly, they seem to be connecting to other people in the server, as they are often getting kills.

I also get 0 ping in every game i enter. I suspect they are using voodoo instead of netcode.

I think Joose has cleared this problem up narf, but there is also a patch you can manually install if your auto updater thingy doesn't work from the download page on gunzonline.com

Here's a problem, I can't even download the game.

Downloads at around 15kbps, then cuts itself off.. =/

I only figured out that the game measures how long it takes you to ping the players, not how long it takes the server to ping the other players.

i remember the other day i was in a server with 2 other 5punkers, and i could see both, they could both see me, but they couldnt see each other. so it was a bit one sided as i was the only one that could kill them, and i was the only one they could kill. rather odd

Unfortunately, as it's still a beta, there's not really much you can do in the way of fixing it if it's b0rk3d

They've just released a relatively big update, so have you tried it since then?

Also, a reinstall with the latest download from the main site might be worth a go as well, but failing that, god knows :(

Since the last update, every time I log onto a server, the fucking thing shows up all weird with big grey patches where the buttons should be

Anyone else have this problem?
