Keyboard with backlit keys!

If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

Don't do it! Don't do it!
They mush all the keys together in one big rectangle so they only have to make a single backlighting board for all the keys. It means that none of them are in a regular qwerty key formation (Eg. the W slightly North-west of the S key)

they have the reputation of being the worst company for returns and replacements in the country.

I know a friend who had something from there be faulty, sent it back, got a replacement. No arguments. It worked second time around. So, I'm not sure what you're basing this bad reputation on?

my mate got a better mobo back than he sent from there. the tech support is good too.

my W is slightly to the left of the S, and has been on every keyboard i own. are they supposed to be symetrical? :?

W just to the left of S sounds about right, that's what it is on this keyboard. Small differences on different keyboards annoy the hell out of me. I can't use a laptop keyboard for shit. =D

meh, i have a few friends who have bought things from them, needed to return them, and had some trouble. 1 of them had to go to the warehouse to get em to sort it, as she lived just down the road. i may just have unlucky friends i suppose :)

A few years back Overclockers were getting really bad press about their support and returns policy, however since then they seem to have taken a positive step towards getting rid of this problem, and improving their service.

Apparently from "the whispers on the internet" they now seem to handle return of goods etc. very well, and quite quickly, so ti looks like an example of a company who have seen their bad points, and actually addressed them
