Anyone else watching the second series on ITV2 at the moment?

http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt0460681/

For those of you that have missed this, it's basically a story about 2 brothers who travel across the States looking for their father who is a demon/spirit "hunter".

They become hunters themselves and it has that great "every episode is like a mini film" kind of feel that the Xfiles had when it first started out.

There is an overall plot that develops, but for the most part it's about killing demons and stuff on the road, and is really enjoyable.

Definitely worth a :sweep: if you haven't already.

Sounds like Charmed. I liked the first series of X Files, as you say they all had a nice little uniqueness to them, and they occasionally slipped in one that was a hoax and not some weirdness if I remember correctly. This leaves me in two minds about it, because I've never liked Charmed/Buffy/etc.

I hate Charmed, but I like Buffy, so I can only suggest sweeping the first 2 episodes and giving it a go, by the end of the second episode you should have an idea on whether you will like it or not.

That looks like the guy from series 2 of Dark Angel...

and the other fella looks a bit like Malachi from Hex (both are fucking great, see them if you haven't already although series 2 of Dark Angel wasn't as good as the first as they clearly had less cash to do things)

oh, and both got axed after 2 series when they were getting really good *grumbles*

Do you know, I wouldn't even know how to start. I really ought to, but I just don't watch enough television to ever inspire me to try. With this and Heroes though I might give it a go.

/revive

4th season started a few weeks back...just watched the first 2 and its still going strong. First 3 seasons was all about demons, spirits and myths...and now in the 4th season, they brought about God and the Apocolypse.

I have a feeling they might end the series after this plotline though...whether this year or next because it seems they have covered all the bases now.

First 2 seasons of :sweep: were done perfectly...3rd had some glitches...
