Highlights

* Players no longer need to scroll down through the EUALA when logging into the game. The window now defaults to the bottom, and players need only check the Agreement box and click accept.
* The war against the gold sellers continues! We have made improvements to the Appeal system to allow players to report spam messages from gold sellers more quickly.
* TAB-targeting should now more consistently select the nearest enemy in the player's field of view.
* Corrected an issue that was preventing players from adding new friends to their friend list even while the number of existing friends was below the list's size limit.
* Fixed the issue that was causing players to sometimes get stuck in a particular animation state.
* Monsters which change velocity while moving in combat should no longer return "Target is Out of Range" sometimes when attacked by players.
* The /ignore command will now work more consistently.
* In response to player feedback, we have made improvements to player pet movement and behaviors.
* The Pet window should no longer disappear when its master is zoning or entering the game.
* We made many UI fixes including a new "autoloot" feature requested by many players.
* Guild cloaks will now display their heraldry properly.
* We have made several improvements to the chat window, and it should now be more intuitive to use and set up. A number of chat window issues were resolved in the process. We are continuing to work on your requests about chat, with more improvements to come in the future.
Some good things there. For me the best is the slight improvement of the agreement acceptance, targeting and looting. I'll wait to see what the new chat is like.

The getting "stuck in animation" problem was more funny than a problem. I had my char stuck in knocked down state. I could run forward but immediately laid back down again when I stopped. Oh, the laughs we shared...

Busy RvR battles are ruined because the tab-targeting is borked.

I think I've reached the point where I can't be fucking bothered now.

However after reading that gaute godager has fucked off from rage of colon and been replaced by someone who apparently listens and responds to communities instead of lying and banning, maybe next year I'll pick up aoc and give it a go and it'll be not broken and chock full of quests.

Seriously quite bored of where I am currently, and with no desire or incentive to progress.

Got to level 19 in Ostland, finished all my quests and moved on to the next area. There's even more schlepping about, public quests that are a waste of time (you just end up doing stage 1 over and over again to get influence, by which time you've leveled past it being useful) and the only flight master is in the middle of an RvR zone.

Oh, and I'm also too low a level to join the local scenario.

Logged in for 5 mins yesterday and just couldn't be arsed. I know it's a new game and everything, but if you're seriously going to release a fantasy MMONG you should know that you've got your work cut out to drag people away from Fairyland. I'm not the biggest fan of WoW, but I just find it so much more enjoyable to play from a single payer aspect*

*I'm told that end game is a pain in the arse unless you're in a massive guild with lots of people to go on raids with, but frankly I doubt I'll ever reach that stage.

Yup, I'm done too.

Though I do have a shiny new title for being a dedicated and happy beta tester

There's a few problems with WAR, not least of which is Warcraft. It depends heavily on the very good group mechanics it has invented, but unfortunately the balance is all fucked up so Order players can never find anyone to team with.

It also still doesn't take the best factor from Warcraft - the environment. It feels like a load of game maps connected by loading screens, while Warcraft has one continuous, and therefore more immersive and believable, world.

The travel system is terrible. Badly positioned flight points, not enough of them, and no option to use your emerald slippers to go anywhere useful.

It gets a lot of things right, and with some additions and tweaking could be made very good, but it really needs to address the Order-Destro balance or else it's doomed. It needs to do it fast too - the longer I'm away from AoC the less likely I am to go back, and the same will apply here.

Ultimately, it needs to make the PvE almost as good as Warcraft in order to give the PvP the chance it deserves. After all, without other players the PvE is all there is. It's not particularly fair that this is another MMONG that has fallen in the shadow of the Blizzard giant, but unfortunately it's the harsh reality.

The only way I would go back to AoC was if loads of 5punkers started playing it again. The fact I'd have to reinstall it frightens me even now.

True enough. Probably have a new wow clone or five to knock about in by that time. Hopefully something different and new and better as well.

I'm getting pretty bored as well and I've only got to L15 with my main character. Although I do very little PvE. I mostly try to find people playing PQs or do scenarios, which isn't really enough variety. I've also tried playing with the crafting system, which is okay, but there's just not enough reagents available. I wouldn't mind paying if there were any in the AH. So that another element of gameplay that doesn't work at the moment.

There's no way I'm going back to AoC. Although it's highly likely I will go back to WoW for Itchy Ring, which could well kill WAR as many others are likely to do the same.

Same here, I got bored with WAR for many of the reasons already stated, times when I might have picked it up for some random play turned into me downloading patches which in turn ended up with my playing WoW again.
Bring on the Itchy Ring!
