My salvaging, talisman and apothecary (two characters) aren't so great. When I've got time I'm going to just churn out a shitload of junk to level up. The talismans aren't all that bad if you've got the slots for them, but many of the potions are a bit useless. Luckily, the healing ones and bottles of piss come from re-usable seeds so hopefully I'll be able to keep turning out loads of those.

Bottles of piss are very needed. I may even forego strength/toughness talismans to create anything that ups my piss.

Anyone know how ingredient levels work in this? With apothecary I've used a lvl25 main ingredient with lvl1 bottle and water, and it junks every time even though it says it'll be volatile. If I use a lvl1 water and a lvl1 stability ingredient (some kind of mushroom I think) it works fine. What's the point in having the higher level ingredients? I wonder if they're used for the lvl50 main ingredients.

Are you saying the L25 main works with L1 water and L1 mushroom, but not with L25 main and L1 water alone? I thought water was the stabiliser, and the mushrooms were for extra quantity/longevity.

Yep, that's my experience of it. I've seen at least three different types of stabiliser - the bottles of water (different types too), some sort of mushroom I think, and a sort of green plant goo. I have to use two lvl1 stabilisers for a lvl25 Elvish Parsley to make a half decent health potion, but it's possible a single lvl25 stabiliser might work.

I'm stuck apoc levelling. I've got plenty of main ingredients but I need some non-main L25 ingredients, like these:

Scabrous Gobswort
Thin Boar Blood
Sandy Fusk
Fizzling Water
Primal Zoic Gore
Slimey Arboreal Resin
Grey-Specked Gobswort

If you can spare any you'll get the resulting potion.

I'm a little way off 50 yet so I'll see what I've got in lvl50 ingredients and bank them for you.

Sorry, only had lvl50 main ingredients, the other stuff was 1 or 25.

EDIT: Piss, I misread your post. It was 25 you needed.
