CoH and CoV on that site are $30 and only $20 on ncsoft, what's the deal? Also do you get a months subscription when you buy the game (from either place) and can I get both together for a cheaper price?

I think you pay a little extra for the middleman etc.

you get a month with each game, but you have to pay a month too to activate i think (may just have to give card info and not pay, dunno)

If I remember right, you don't pay the subscription fee the first month - that's covered by the game price. You can get them both cheaper by getting the Good Vs Evil set, and you get yummy perks like a VIP pass and teleports to Pocket D - the rockin'est night club in Paragon City.

I don't see any way of getting this set online though, only individually. If I buy the boxed version from this country does that mean I can only play on EU servers?

I ended up buying all 3 seperately online. (as you need both coh and cov to use the GvE stuff)

and yes, a copy you buy here will be EU only.


edit: while villains and the GvE pack are not needed, both make travelling around the game a good deal easier (though most of us can teleport friends now, which helps a bit)

Ahhhh, I see. I saw the GVE thing on the shop when I was getting CoV and assumed it was the whole product. It must only show up when you have one of the games and, yes, it's only the extras. Don't know how much it is though.

i think it's $10.

so even if you buy all 3, you only end up paying £25 (including 2 months of gameplay)

which is a pretty good deal, imo.

I'm still confused, "all 3"? There's only two games and you get them both in the GvE pack, with a couple of little extras, as this page would suggest: http://www.cityofheroes.com/store/goodversusevil/
But that's only available as a DVD copy from walmart, not available here I imagine.

Are the extras worth it? Can you point me in the direction of a page where I can buy the GvE pack? Have I got this totally wrong?

when i refer to all 3, i mean, CoH, CoV and the GvE items pack. (as real actual GvE is only gettable in walmart)

IMO the GvE items are handy, but not essential. I'd suggest getting CoH and if you like it, think about CoV and the GvE pack.
