Scalar Federation

Post by centerededgedesign »

Not much seekret there, since anyone that logs on can show info on 5punk and see that we're in an alliance, but having something to post in the 0.0 section is cool!

Our link to this alliance was a remnant from our last one that dissolved around us. They're a small mining corp, w/ 2 rorq's. Basically they needed some miners to help drag ore in, for a cut. They're not all that bright, but access to good ore to make some better isk in 0.0 w/ good ratting and lots of belts is worth a try to get the corp in a definite direction.

If this works out, I'll be trying to get our members to all come out and rat/and or mine, and if they want to pew pew, we'll get involved in the core part of the aliance. For the most part, I think we carebears are needed simply to keep the factories running at this point. It doesn't sound like the alliance is heavy into caps, since all their mails are about spider repping BS fits and procedures for ops, (who does damage, who supports).

I got almost all the way out there before DT in my new cov ops frig. (Epic fail on my part though, I lacked the skills for the cov ops cloak, so I flew down w/ just a prototype cloak, semi-utterly useless against a good gate camp, but I was fitted for fast align and speed, so managed to run all 0 of the camps I encountered.)

So next post I'll have intel on how good the roids are, how shiny the rats are, and if Elvis is indeed a Caldari that joined the Guristas.

Fly safe guys!

(I'm hoping HARD that this is a good tool for getting members into 5punk. It's a helluva lot more to offer than 'we're working to build caps, someday far off in the future when our 3 semi-active members build a bazillion isks to buy all the bpos'.)

But it is a Dres idea, so 95% chance it's just a huge idea that may not werk. Here's to hoping though!

Which part of 0.0 are you in? North area because of the Guristas but where? May see if funds are ok enough to put my alt back into 5punk and give you a hand with stuff if you need it.

Scalar were in PB last I looked. I vaguely remember bumping into them hanging out with MM (I think?) or something along those lines. As long as you stay away from the BoB/NC thing you should be fine there. Well established POS bridge network. They put up a pretty solid defence to our roaming gangs.

I wasn't there for very long so alot of this might be bollox.

Indeed, Pure Blind is mentioned on many mails, about to log in proper and see if my 'donated Hulk' can tank spawns or not, hopefully Rorq will be in use as well.

As far as the entire political situation, I'm not fully aware yet. My contact is not the most detailed at answering questions. So I finally took the plunge, joined, and now in a position to learn more!

Ok, this is what I learned today:

The station we're based out of is in Tenal region.

Belts include : Crokite, Spod, Hedbergite, Mercoxit, Bistot, Ochre. and lots of low ends like veld, pyroxeres, Scordite. Oh yeah, lots of Kernite too.

Didn't see any famed officer spawns, but I hear they're found weekly.

Fly safe gents, family day today!

Jack - see if you can get some activity going in 5punkorp and rejoin Scalar Fed. Let's just say...some intel on the pipe would be mighty useful for my current area of ops :P
