This is taking forever to install, been at least an hour so far, maybe 12. That or 20 minutes, still feels like an age.

Really?

Is it everything you had expected? It's horribly grey if you ask me; the John Major of MMO's. Technically, it's years behind everything else (I'd even rate WoW above it). It has plus points, but the overall feeling is a big "meh", at the moment.

It's good fun, teaming is best in any mmo ever. char progression is nicely done.

RVR is very inclusive and pretty good, but not essential.

Also. great with 5punkers.

I'm really liking it, but it's obviously down to personal preference. It's obviously not as polished as WoW as it's not been around as long.

Give it a bit more time and it should grow on you.

I got in a bit of rut trying to level past 5, the same two quests available, kept dying trying to go anywhere.

Managed to get past all the bad guys other people were killing (really don't like the respawn back at camp thing) and fly to the city again, so I might try flying to the elf or human areas tomorrow.

Feeling a bit left behind, too, but it doesn't have that same addictiveness as WoW and I keep thinking of other things I'd rather do.

I'm noting that the PvE is pretty limited. I got stuck trying to level by doing PvE too, and I suspect this is the problem most people are having with the game. Once you get into public quests is feels a bit nicer, you feel like you're fighting for something and that actually makes a difference. The big draw though is the PvE - to me it feels like it's done to the hack-and-click MMONG what BEEF did to the FPS. It's so accessible, and you don't even have to team up if you can't be arsed. Just hang around PvP areas lending a hand and you'll still be rewarded. WAR might not ultimately be the one to out-Warcraft Warcraft, but I'll be surprised if the social aspect doesn't set the new standard for MMONGs.

Forenrond - Elven sword swinger bloke

For a tank these chaps don't seem to be bad at DPS, although most are like that at low level I suppose.

Sword master right?

They do make fairly good off-tanks and the pet has some nifty abilities, but they're no ironbreaker to be sure.

That's the badger, although they don't get pets. You're thinking of the White Loin, which is melee DPS.

I'd compare the Sword Master to paladins in Warcraft. They're a bit of a jack of all trades from what I can see. Not bad for soloing though.

Yeah I kind of stop playing this. It's a shame because I think it's good but unfortunately I cant mix it with WOW because the latter requires too much time.
