I do hate the way great games are all packed together in a few months whilst for most of the year, nothing worth buying is released.

However, this year has probably been the pretty good. During the drought period we've had Spore among countless others, along with a few "blockbuster" tries and fails (Haze).

um, the drought ended right around Spore's release, hence the 1-2 silly massive titles coming out every month from now until santa.
