Don't know what's going on, but I'm not able to add a lot of you, it's says "zero results" when I search for you, here are the people I can get creatures from, with Fail for the ones I can't:

DogPants, 46
5hada, Fail
FatherJack (seems to work, given people have found my creatures)
Grimmie, 48
mymindisbroken, Fail
Killavodka, 71
Cowjoose, 18
Thewigmeister, 24
Fishbits, Fail
Gunslinger42, Fail
RomanTotale, Fail
Baliame, 24
Tanderon, Fail

Don't know if it's something to do with having used the creature creator before, having registered at their site, or that you haven't purposely uploaded a design using the world+arrow icon on the test drive screen.

Wiggy actually came up as having recently used one of my creatures as an epic, without me having to search for him, so i was able to add him from there. It's odd, as Impertore's screenshot shows he had my Coatsplease as an epic in his game (as well as DP's Moocows and my Stoopidocuses).

One thing we noticed during the creature creator phase was that there was a discrepancy between the global and the EU spore sites. If you type spore.com into a browser, it redirects you (if you're in europe) to eu.spore.com - which is pretty much consistently broken, click login and it says "This section of the Spore website is currently down for maintenance". Type spore.com/profile however, and you can log in to the global site just fine.

I guess just wait a little while until the EA servers sort themselves out. I'm going to go through the list and add you all soon, so if you see me in whatever thing FJ just mentioned you'll be able to add me through there.

edit: and by add you all I mean add the few of you that it'll actually let me add

Ok guys got a work around for the buddies.

http://www.spore.com/view/profile/PlayerName

Then where ist says "player x profile" there is a little golden cross and you can add buddy on there and it transfers on to your game.

If you get internal server error refresh a few times, took me 10 refreshes to get gunslinger up.

Edit: Seems case sensitive too, eg;

doesnt work but it does as:

Odd, I've been trying for a while and I just get an error 500. Maybe a cache refresh will fix it.

EDIT: Nope, dick all. I'll try again later.

Actually I was getting that as well initially. What I did was I logged in through spore.com and went to my own profile, then I started to do the links and it worked fine after that.

Searching is not case sensitive though, I typed all lowercase.

By the way, you can still use people's stuff made in Creature Creator even if they don't have Spore.

If you're getting the 500, you need to log in. Also, the web pages are case sensitive, though the in-game search isn't.

All added okay.
