XFire stats

Post by MORDETH LESTOK »

Is there a way to "upload" hours that you played games b4 using XFire? I mean...my Everquest accounts I can type /played and get hours played....just like in CoH/V when you click on NPC's....I just never used XFire other than for EVE.

Nope, xfire just logs whatever compatible games are running when they're running.

:above: but you can hack it pretty easily, so you can pad stats out while not running games, but that's pointless :)

Leave them running overnight if it bothers you that XFire doesn't match what you've played - I think I did this with one of the Footy Manager games, as I was annoyed that they didn't actually support it until I'd almost stopped playing it.

Usually though, a lot of us are grateful that it doesn't expose the excessive amounts of time we've spent making some pixels do some things to other pixels or incrementing a digital value inside a computer when there are other things we are "supposed" to be doing.

These days, I wear my XFire hours with pride, but I was quite retiscent in the early days.

hmm...would take a bit to re-do the 5years I invested in Everquest...and the 1000some hours of CoH/V that way...I've never used XFire until EVE thats why nothing is accounted for correctly

I was actually looking for an easy way to see how much of my Life I spent on those games but looks like I'll just have to log on every toon...
