I'm expecting at least some abuse but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the DRM on iTunes purchases?
I'm considering a purchase but don't like the idea of the DRM. I know not all the music has DRM, is there a way to tell?

iTunes Plus is handy to know about. They didn't make it very obvious from the name.
I've investigated the main DRM ripping options but they don't seem to be available from the usual sources for obvious reasons.
Of course CDs are an option but when you only want one track or if it's cheaper on iTunes I don't want to go down that route.
Thanks

There's some talk of them on wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_DRM# ... g_Fairplaydeject wrote:there is a tool to strip the DRM from normal iTunes bought tracks, but I forgot what it's called.
As I said the main ones are not easily available, but I havent read it too carefully or checked all mentioned. I'm assuming all on Wiki will be the same.
