peerguardian is OK in my experience. a bit buggy on occasion, but it usually works without interfering.

peerguardian is evil, but it does do its job, kinda. also can fuck up normal sites and shit randomly, so be careful with it.

Yeah I did have to make my own exceptions list so Steam would work properly if PG was on. Usually it's not a problem, but it can still be annoying.
