Hey ... another problem , this time its with video playback. in winamp and DivX i get this strange bright white video playback, I did have it in Windows media player aswell but i turned down the video accelaration and this got rid of it so I can view the file as it should be seen. I can't turn down the video accelaration in divx or winamp because i dont know where or even if they have video accelaration and I checked their websites but there is nothing useful on them.
So once again have you guys got any tricks I could do with my monitor or in the programs
P.S I checked NVidia Settings but i cant find anything helpful in there either (probably missed something though )
For just working, and not cacking around with skins and sync and plugins and licenses and all that other complicated nonsense, I recommend Media Player Classic, which solved 90% of my playback problems at a stroke. http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... e_id=84358
For DVD-type stuff I use Cyberlink's PowerDVD, which comes free with the PCs at work and has some very useful (possibly unique) codecs within it. http://www.gocyberlink.com/multi/products/1.html
For anything else, which is usually just complicated Matroska-encoded Japanese anime fansubs, or partially downloaded erm..documents, then if you have all the codecs, The Core Media Player should play them. http://www.corecoded.com/
