City of Villains

Post by Lateralus »

Since most of us are playing this just at the moment, I thought I'd start a new thread.

I've not actually tried this yet, but I intend to use this set of binds for controlling my pets. It uses the numpad, and seems pretty logical and probably easier than trying to use the powertray like I currently do. There's more stuff I will add in time, but for now I have to go to work instead. Pah.

Jolly handy, ta Lat. I've tested them using the second (text file) method and it works a treat. Just FYI, he has updated the guide (no idea with what) here.

I tried the quick copy and paste into the chat bar this morning quickly and it seems to work really well. Couldn't see any obvious benefit to the textfile way since I doubt I'll be changing the binds, so I went with the easiest option.

Well the altitus kicked in last night, and in a spare half hour I created a new character. She's a very short and fat brute, with energy melee and electric secondary I think, and is called Bostin Red Sock (sorry hehulk!). Pics to follow. Not sure if I should have gone for Invulnerability instead, but I can take on a few mobs before needing to rest. The Rage bar for brutes is good though, and once full I end up one-shotting people at my own level with a couple of the powers. Anyone fancy some new Villains tonight? Thought we could do with some alternatives to all our masterminds!

I've got a Dominator (I think, the invisible guys) I can wheel out, he's about level 6.

Introducing, from left to right, Marvin, Robbie the Robot, Kryten, Spare Head 1, ROBO and Spare Head 2. ROBO is my latest addition at the recently attained level 26, and is thoroughly ace. Next target is level 32 and Upgrade Robot for some awesome damage.

I just hope people don't confuse the BagelMaster with Robocop.

Yay, level 32 has been attained, along with a more sensible outfit, and Upgraded robots are fucking awesome.
