I always said UT2k3 didn't happen.
However, I legally own all these except Unreal 2 (which was most underrated IMHO) plus I don't have 20GB free on my Steam disk partition.

It would be tempting, but seeing as I've got copies of Unreal, UT, Unreal 2, and possibly 2k3 somewhere, I'm not interested.

I have copies of all the Unreal games apart from UT3... somewhere, but it's nice to have them on steam, where i can actually find them.

I have UT2K3 and 2K4 only so I think I may purchase, if only for UT3.

Xfire doesn't pick these up yet.
To make it work do
Tools > Options > Games.
Then for each game find it in the list and choose
Manual Setup.
For UT3 you want the path to be
(assuming default steam install) :
Code: Select all
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\unreal tournament 3\Binaries
For UT2k4:
Code: Select all
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\unreal tournament 2004
The rest you can work out for yourselves

Oh, yeah, we has a working UT3 server now.
217.112.95.67:7777
should be findable in the server list, is on deathmatch.

If I didn't already have UT3 I'd be interested. I'll have to revisit Unreal 2 again though, via other means.

Hmm, UT3 - like a supermodel. Good to look at and play with but vacuous and you will break it.
I enjoy it but not as much as I enjoy other stuff, like reading bofh or the news feeds or watching stuff on youtube and then lolling at the comments.
Inn gameplay sandwich terms it's cucumber on brown and it's not even got crusts, that would be too exciting. It's a sandwich but every other sandwich out there is superior in terms of taste and playability, hmm I'm mixing stuff up a bit here.
It looks rather amazing, the AI is really hit and miss, but that's to be expected, it just doesn't grape my squildo, dunno why.
I'll no doubt have a run around on 5punky server, but I dunno how long it'll be before CODCODCODCODCODCODCODCOD is uttered.

You sound like you're playing the single player, why not just play it against real people?
The only problem I have with the game is that I prefer my games to be a little more sedate in my old age. Not slow, just not at constant break-neck speed. The larger maps aren't so bad though.

So much UT at once. So that's why Berk bought all that hard drive space.

I still have nightmares about all those map packs.

Pete, I assume you're on floorware? if so, can you get onto our server? just out of interest really.

Steam is seriously giving me the willies now. Every fucking time there's a third party game, it bugs out... Anyone got a fix for game unavailable error?
