Dres is awesome tbfh, and well worth every penny of the postage costs :D

I stole a mobile broadband dongle from work today so I could log on and change all my skills. 5 days unplanned outage ftl. I was going mad, fuck knows how Dres handled it for months!

Running around empire in a freighter atm trying to catch up with MC who have long since moved on to the next contract while I'm still stuck in Geminate low sec with 3 bs...

ETNY have opened recruiting again, if anyone is vaguely interested though narf Insrg is probably more interesting, even though we've finally started doing contracts again and last week against PURE. was awesome fun.

The first two months were the worst, as things kinda deteriorated and I was powerless to do anything about it. After that I had to find an 'alternate' stress relief, or go mad, so I started replaying all my old PS2 games with my daughter. That, and writing about Eve whenever 5 minutes or more lined themselves up for me to use. I spent quite a bit of time sitting in hotel rooms writing down ideas for this grand tale I'm working on now.

Luckily, I've fallen in with the bestest corp in Eve, even though most aren't members of it anymore, the 5punky way lives on!

See you all in-game in about 3 hours!

I'm considering coming back, in fact I've had shattered crystal open but then hesitated.

I'm not sure what I am gonna do, but I would consider MC or Insurgency as they seem like fun, which was what I missed towards my last time with EVE.

In your honest opinion tho, do you think I'd enjoy MC (not that I'm sure they'd even have me) - or even Insurgency?

Depends.

Let's be hypothetical for a second. You re-subbed. What do you want to do in eve?

Better suited to Insurgency, without a doubt.

Christ, that was a long couple of weeks

No big war means everyone in insrg has been trying to learn how to nanofag the hard way, and while we're not completly useless at it, the guys up here have been skirmishing with Tri for a damn long time, and know how to do it better, or they know how to counter the nanofaggetry well. So, we've been getting reamed hard.

We're being promised big war soon(tm) though, so it'll be back to buisness as usually hopefully.

On the BS.I front, I'd forgotten how painful POS chains are to set-up, although having 2 anshars in the corp is all sorts of win for looking after them so getting fuel up and reactions down isn't a huge chore. Looking at getting a corp freighter up here in the north to make hauling everything about easier (I've been emptying silos into corp hangers, so the twice a month I empty it it's a several hour job), as well as making runing mining ops in systems 5-6J from our refining outpost easier in the post-op logistics. Getting 700K M3 hauled last week was like pulling teeth :(

5punkorp has been reborn. Despite only one recruit out of the first week of recruitment, we had two 5punky mining ops this weekend, netting at least 20 jet cans of ore. Saturday was mining for the corp's hangars, Sunday for personal profit, with Fabyak donating nearly 2 million trit to the corp. Fab was in attendance both days dishing out a sizeable bonus in yield and in shortened cycle times.

On Saturday, we also conducted some missioning to raise our standing with the faction that runs the Adahum office, and Dres now has a low low tax rate of .78% on refining. As his standing grows, I'll gang up with other 5punkorp members to help raise the corp standing as well.

Thanks to Elotane, Fabyak, and Njord for mining this weekend!
Next weekend perhaps we'll do some corp missioning/salvaging to see if we can get some rigs built and some standings raised.

It was a neutral alt... no offence but when is it a good idea to hope a tenuous blue relationship to extend to neutral freighter alts in 0.0, why use a neutral alt for 0.0 anyway :?

So Lilan keeps chanting at me. Tired of hearing that bullshit, it was at at insrg POS, we told them before the fact it was an insrg alt.

Excuse? Oh yes, very, and anyone feeling like telling me other, well, not today.

*Casts Thread Revival lv4*

Faction Warfares awesome. Daily and nightly mid level fleet engagements (by that I mean fleets of 40-60 per side kicking 6 shades of shit out of each other). Gallente win, alot, some of which I'm extremly happy to say is down to my target calling (Every time I'm primary target caller, we seem to completly decimate the caldari, their spies havn't twiged this yet and keep primaring the FC). Twice hourly roaming gangs, and did I mention the odd raid into hostile high sec to take out unsuspecting targets.

It's hot and cold running PVP, in short. Gallente faction is a mixed bag of skill levels. I've led guys who interupt my target calling with omg, I just got my first ever kill to former alliance fleet commanders who wouldn't feel uncomfortable leading 50 dreads into combat. It's awesome, and I love it, and I will lament the day BS.I leaves for greener grass.

And on a completly unrelated note, arse moneys, I just lost my original hulk that I've had for over two years after scouting myself for 10 hours getting it out of 0.0 1J from the empire boarder. RIP 'The Fucking Win'

Still, I gave that rapier what for, and if the omen hadn't jumped in, it might have gona a different way...

Sounds fun. Sadly for me the desire to log in and play inernet spaceships for any meaningful length of time continues to be largely absent. Really just can't be arsed with it atm.
