Fuck yeah! I don't know where to start.

The roman costumes look good (expect to see an explosion of romans now).
Dunno what the new Midnight Squad missions are going to be like, but variety is the spice of life.
A new powerset for each archetype! That is massive kinds of win (see the plant controller - Feed me Seymour!).
A fucking hospital in the Hollows! And a revamp of the missions! Holy shit, it's like they listen in to us on teamspeak.

All in all, I'm wetting my pants with glee at this updatel.

FUCK YEAH!

This looks most fucking win. Epic Archetypes for villains? I'll have to get Grytpype out of storage.

Configurable powers trays? No more getting cramp as a Kheldian!

More powers? Hospital in the Hollows? I feel all giddy now.

When you do wheel out Grytpype give me a shout, I've been trundling along with my zambah mastermind so I'm a bit higher level. Not that I'm ever likely to get to 50  I do like Villains though.

Now I need to know:
How do I access the Midnighters missions?
How do I unlock the Roman costumes? (although I probably won't use them)

Fair play to Cryptic for continually adding great new content, I'm impressed.

I don't think it's been rolled out yet.

I may be wrong.

I need to start a villian.

I think Cryptic sold the IP of CoH/V to ncsoft fairly recently, so it's probably just NC trying to make money after that other game failed so hard

After taking a moment to read it (rather than taking cheap shots at Roman) I declare this FUCKING WIN!.

Sorting contacts and hot-linking in chat are very welcome. It's great to see they are still working so hard on the game and giving us FREE upgrades.

It all leaves me wondering about where Champions Online fits into all this though.

I thought you already had one. You'll still probably hit lvl13 before I do.

I doubt we'll see that for at least a year and a half, probably more two. Fuck new MMONGS, between COH, Eve and WoW I think 5punk's pretty much covered.

Villains is more fun and...more evil ;)

My villain just hit 50 and starting to do the Ouroboros mishs which are kinda neat so far. Bouncing back n forth on different lvls...good way to show you how well you respec'd your toon...cuz once you hit 50...the only way is down...

My 22 corruptor is fun cuz of the FIRE graphics...fire...fire FIRE! I will keep playing her but not to 50...

I think I might be taking a break from CoX after script runs out on the 22ish and wait for the new stuffs

besides...I feel the need, the need to EVE! :ahoy:

I don't dislike it, I just couldn't justify subscribing to it any more. I can't think of anything I specifically don't like, but it just all together seems a bit flat. I'm still of the opinion that it'll improve with age, but as I hadn't played it in about three weeks I decided to stop with it for now.

Stats of skills before you select them? most boring but most useful! Being a newb in paragon city I was a tad confused about how you worked out which new skills to unlock. Sounds good to me :boogie:

I liked it the way it was, you just picked what you liked the sound of. By giving out numbers it turns into a maths exercise with people working out DPS and suchlike, rather than playing what they enjoy.

I tended to go off 5punkers' recommendations if anyone happened to be around when I levelled, but I agree that turning it into Science takes away a little of the fun.

I dunno, you already had people working out the maths behind stuff from what actual damage things were doing, so i don't think its going to stop people playing what they enjoy. If you don't want to do it Science style, just don't bother comparing numbers. If you do, you now can.
