I have two seated tickets for this but cannot go (forgot I already had something planned and those cunts at Ticketmaster wouldn't let me cancel).

Would anybody like them?

What's the other thing? A laydeee?

Anyway, enough of that.

I looked at getting tickets, and I would take them off your hands, but the missus went skitz just because I was looking (she went a bit crazy when she saw me on the nisbets site looking at knives too).

How much?

erm, £30 for the pair? Hadn't really thought about it. Was going to stick them on eBay but I really can't be arsed.

If I could get there and back in one night or they were in Newcastle I'd buy them, but I can't really afford trains and accommodation too, a couple of train tickets this close and with railcards is £70 quid, plus a night in a crappy hotel would be about the same. I'd ebay them if I were you. Is your missus not a fan of Billy Corgan?

She is a fan, but other things were already arranged.

That and the fact I might have bought the tickets without telling her...

I saw the pumpkins at Pukklepop last summer. they were good and much better than towards their previous breakup when they (well, you know who) treated the audience like they were dogshit on his shoe.

My advice; tell her it's a surprise gift for valentine's and that. If she really does like the band then she'll love you for it.

Beware of setting a raised base level of expectations though. I always buy Bubble movies/TV show DVDs for christmas that she knows we both like. If I put too much effort in I'd just be buying a life of trouble. Thing is, I have this plan to get her a VW Karmann Ghia as I know it's her favorite car in the whole world but I just know I'd be fucking myself for all future chrismases if I do, so I'll probably just buy her the Usual Suspects Director's cut instead

Buy a silent keyboard or some earplugs for her instead.
