I have to admit I preferred Jewel Staite/Keeley in Firefly.

Especially when covered in engine oil...

It's good, but not right.

Morena Baccarin (the prostitute) is the best on that show.

Morena is damn good, I'll agree, but there's something about Jewel/her character.... :likesitall:

I liked Kaylee best, although I was quite upset that she betrayed me in episode 8.

+1 for Kaylee in FF/Serenity.

And as for TSCC, watched the first two, seem alright.

Plot's a bit thin after the first two, I suspect the eps are going to be:

1) Information finding out aboots skynet
2) Terminators find them and escape
3) Other problem and/or distaster + escape/fix
4) More terminator action
5) Information and next ep setup.

Semi-related, wasn't there something in the pilot episode that had to be taken out?

Apparently, yeah
Wiki wrote:Fox Entertainment Chairman Peter Liguori said that a certain aspect of the pilot, involving a Terminator posing as a teacher attacking John at school, was to be changed following the shooting at Virginia Tech. Although the shooting remained in the series premiere, a scene showing students dealing with the aftermath as FBI Agent Ellison surveys the damage was removed.

Hmmmn.

Not really holding me so much this season, just... doesn't seem as good.

Still watchable, but not so much.

First 3 of the new season seem ok.

I can't imagine how this series can grow, other than being the same old type of thing every episode - there is very little scope for adventure.

:above: not to mention, that new ginger bird annoys the fuck out of me.

oh, and we all know they're doomed to fail anyway, given the movies, so it's just gonna be stuck as a perpetual mediocre everyplot.

Also, I'm not even sure if I watched 2 eps or 3 so far this season, which is never good.
