There was a time when the group I played with traditionally ran a 'Christmas Dungeon'. It was always surreal, you could play any character you had from any game, and the GM just made the rules up as he went along. The one that sticks in my head involved all the characters finding themselves in Mr Benn's costume shop and meandering through time in their costumes causing chaos. The character I used was an AD&D ranger who returned to his campaign with a red plastic longsword from a cracker that was the best weapon I ever owned.

Either option is...ok ish for me. I may not be able to go much after 10pm though, which could be an issue.

You can leave Gerald in our safe hands. We'll put him to bed and tuck him in.

ooh, that could work. I could play till my time is up, then autopilot him till the finish. It's entirelly feasable that I will be around a fair bit after 10, but thats the latest I am *definately* free till.

Yeah, that's no problem. He'll just follow the squad on a lead for the rest of the BPN and shoot at/hit anything that needs shooting/hitting. You'll take a slight XP drop but not SCL or cash.

So, saturday again? I take it that's best for Deject still.

Right, I think I need to offer some kind of clarification after last night;

1. Sorry about that.
2. Everything up to speaking to the cafe owner can be taken as gen, everything after can be ignored.
3. Dirk still has a date.
4. You were getting close by checking the records of who lived around the area. You just need to use more of the facts you have to narrow it down and widen your search. (I figure I owe you a clue after last night).
5. Sorry again :(

Are you a bit delicate today? :ahoy:

From what the crazy cafe owner told us, a lot of operatives hang around his cafe. He also mentioned, as several others have, that Liphook was an unsavoury character. We also know that SLA had him on their books as a potential future Operative. We know that his killer was Karma'd with some powerful stuff. When we searched the Karma records we only searched for ex-SLA ops, only two hits came back one of which is presumed dead after taking a Black BPN (Cruz Valensuela?) and the other op is currently on a BPN (Ken Wilkins, possibly who were sort of meeting at the Pit).

I had a theory last night that Darknight were possibly killing these chaps after they failed to recruit them. However I now have another theory that we're possibly looking at some sort of Operative vigilante. I reckon we do another search on the Karma books, but this time including present SLA ops living in the area of the cafe.

And people need to stop making jokes about penguins.

To speed things up a bit; Ken Wilkins is on a White BPN and can be contacted, but he'll tell you that he was on an off-world green at the time of the first killing. A search for current Ops in the area with Nuke Tendon and Shock/Brace implants gives you three more hits;

Sharron Hatfield - Human, Kick Murder, SCL8A.3, Magic Mushroom squad
Todd McCall - Human, Death Squad, SCL8A, Magic Mushroom squad
Boris Ronny Bryant - Human, Death Squad, SCL9B.8, freelance

:lol: no worries mate. I was laughing rather hard.

From what you've told us now we should try to get in touch with the Magic Mushroom squad just to ask if they were in the area the entire past 3 weeks, but I've got a hunch that Boris is more likely to be our guy.

Well, if you contact the two Magic Mushroom members they'll say that they were in Mort for the whole duration, but on two of the saturday nights they were both in The Pit with the rest of their squad. They've got another four Ops who can confirm this, plus they say The Pit should have a record of the times they handed in and collected their weapons at the door.

Boris, according to his BPN history, has been in Mort since he left Meny about six months ago. Contact details are available, and he's currently not on a BPN.

Hmm, looks like the Jade stuff is still a little too expensive for me. Might still have a shopping trip before we go on the Green BPN though.

Crack on. By the way, did we ever decide how much of a gap you wanted to leave between BPNs?
