Lots for the Wii, but the release date makes me a bit suspicious that Animal Crossing, Battalion Wars 2 and FF: CC aren't quite the games they should be. I suspect lazy GameCube ports.

Super Smash Bros isn't supposed to be out until April.

Nice to actually see some new games, though - I've been right desperate and bought some fair old crappers during the winter break.

Battalion Wars 2 gets my money, regardless of my doubts, though - sequel to the sequel of Advance Wars, my Wii needs a strategy combat game.

Space Siege, Super Smash Brothers and Aion Tower of Eternity aren't out tomorrow.

Given how fun the character creation screen is in COH, this list needs more Spore - a game with an even better character creation jobbie, and one that continues through the entire game.

Any firmer dates anywhere than Spring 2008?

I think they're still sticking with 'Some time in 2008'

The spring date was mostly speculation, and will wright fueling the speculation in a couple of interviews, as spore didn't appear on EA's 2007/08 fiscal year doohickey. And from what I remember hearing EA's fiscal year ends on March 31st, so it could be released anytime from then on. Who knows?

Also, damn you Tezz for making me think space siege was out

No Wii animal crossing yet, the release date is still "TBC". Looking forward to it when it arrives though.

The only new Wii game in the shops this week is Donkey Kong Jet Race. There's an Advance Wars game on the DS, and Smash Bros hits Japan. Burnout Paradise seems to be the only other big new one.
