Atorian
Well,
Some of you know the game - its kinda gone through some hard times over the past year. I know at one stage there was a small following from some of the members of this site. With the release of episode V I believe Atorian is now much better then what it was when you last played it (but then again im biased) so if you last played it (or have never played it before) and you are keen to give it a raw opionated response to the new release - i'd surely love to read it so i can improve this game
Looking forward to your reviews

thanks for your response Hehulk,
back when you guys were playing there was several server problems which caused the "battle ticks" to be skipped:
- players being able to send an unlimited amount of attacks
- the server we were on was being shared with 7 other games
- the server provider wouldnt respond to our email enquiry's till 10-12hrs later (frustrating).
Since then Atorian has moved to a new server provider, the battle engine has been re-written to deal with battles in a more efficient way and the number of fleets a player can send out has been capped at 3 (or 4 for players who pay for Extra Features).

Hi FatherJack,
I believe what happened was - i released episode V on the 5th of January. I had posted up a messages a few weeks in advance that the new episode was going to be being released (1 weeks notice of the actual date of the end of round). At the end of a round all tables were deleted (which included players scores, resources, etc) and i imported new tables with changed fields from the testing site.
There was major changes made to episode V and it was easier just to copy everything from the testing site. New round changes will NOT lose account login details but will however reset the essentials.
Hope this clears up your query, to join back up again you will need to start as a new player (you'll find the paid amount is less then before)

really? most players finish the tech tree 1/2 way through the round
In this episode you can actually now attack from the start. By that i mean you can build a fleet that wont be taken out by the "top guns". I have added a tech limiter so that if a player has most of the techs they cant bash n00bies which was a problem in previous rounds So the players that are attacking you are not that far ahead in technology to what you have
