If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

drag and drop failz

Post by thewombleofdeath »

for some reason, drag and drop has randomly stopped working. Every time I try to drag and drop a file, whether it be from 1 folder to another, from a folder to msn, a music file into itunes etc. all I get is the little, what looks like a no-entry sign. Copy and Paste works fine as normal so I'm not sure why this has happened, nothing has been installed or changed recently that I recall.

looked this up on google and found THIS. I dont have the virus or process so before I go fettling with the DLL's, was wondering if anyone was any the wiser?

thanks in advance, as usual

I assume you've tried rebooting?

cheeseandham probably knows exactly what the issue is, so wait for him :)

This. I'm pretty shit with the software side of tribbleshooting, C&H has a whole can of fairy dust for this sort of thing.
