and 5punky server turns hardcore! This is good news, I love my games on hardcore as it doesn't matter how much people bunny hop I can kill them dead, (not looking at shada or anything) when did this start?

lolwut. We've gone back to normal mode, haven't we? YOU'RE TOO LATE.

Though I think the plan was to change between hardcore and normal modes occasionally, or have one server hardcore and one normal.

Right now, both are normal.

I'm thinking I'll change the passworded server to unpassworded uncracked hardcore, and the current public to public cracked normal.

maybe.

Sounds good. I look forward to an infinite number of randomers using red dot G3s and instakilling me with single shots from afar.

How many players are you setting the max to? I've been playing on 50 player servers. They're hilarious.

I like this idea. If we have both servers public, then both will have the chance of randoms when it's a bit quiet. Hardcore I like, but some nights, I can't be fucking bothered, I have to concentrate more and I lol less as a result.

217.112.95.67:28960 is now uncracked hardcore TDM (with a few HQ thrown in)
217.112.95.67:28962 is cracked normal.

Both have 3 sec respawn timers and FF set to 3 (which is either shared or reflect)

Mapcycles need going over at some point.

I just noticed that there's a COD4 patch 1.4. Should I install it? :/

That was aimed at everyone else, right? I mean, you can't have forgotten that we already tested out THE AWESOME CHRISTMAS MAP, right? AM I THAT UNMEMORABLE?

But yes. Everyone get 1.4. It's got fixes, but who gives a shit about those when it's got a christmas version of Crash.

Shada poked me a little

the hardcore server now has a 50 player, 5000 point, 30 minute limit.

we'll see how it goes, but I think we might need to lower the time back to 20 minutes.

play on there loads, try to get it populated a bit.

Don't forget the Lucky Seven Second Respawn Timer of Calm Recollection.

These are all settings that I've encountered on servers today and enjoyed. But I'm not entirely sure about the point and time limits - maybe 20mins is better after all. They will require testing. The main problem I'm thinking is if the server takes a long time to populate, or never gets populated, we'll just be sitting around on the same map for ages.

I'd suggest for getting the servers busy, we play cod without the [5punk] tags on.

It'll look much more like randoms on a busy server that way. which is good.

Can't fit my name on with [5punk] tag anyway. 30 mins seems a long time for a map I dislike, but we can work on the cycle.

Absolutely, we can quite easily vote onto the next map if we do get stuck like that.

As it is, the settings are pretty much a worst case/full server scenario, just to see what happens and stuff, they'll almost certainly be fettled to be more 5punky.

Barely play COD anymore, let alone teeF. Does anyone know if jammyknees will work with 'frontlines:fuel or walking'? I can't see why it wouldn't, and all the little buggy things are like micro machines with bombs in.
