Spec me some Games Bitches

Post by MIkkyo »

Managed to get a premium 360 for silly money in work, now I need some games at equally silly low prices. Any suggestions? I'm getting dead rising and Assasins creed but other than that I'm not really sure as to whats good. I trust your opinions more than magazines.

Mass effect is currently being raved about, hell, even Pete rates it highly.

Forza Motorsport 2 for the drivings. (My most-played game on the system)
PGR4 for the arcadey drivings, don't get Sega Rally or Flat Out: UC.

RPGs I'd say Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata, not Enchanted Arms. Getting Mass Effect.

Crackdown I like when I'm not playing it, bizzarely. I always want to go back and try new things, but get stuck in a rut when actually playing it for a while.

Viva Pinata for your gardening/cartoon animal-copulating needs. Overlord for you evil minion-controlling urges, although this is on PC too, now.

Gears of War and Halo 3 for shootings - not great compared to PC games, but the best the system has to offer.

Dead Rising got a bit old quickly, and I don't like the sound of the sneaking past guards in Assasin's Creed.

Most importantly, though - download teh demos through the Marketplace. I would have bought a colossal amount of shit if not for that handy feature. Set the Live Arcade to auto-download too - lots of fun to be had in there for (optionally) no money.

Enchanted Arms is great. If you like your stop start stop start adventuring.

The static character picture cut-scenes ruined it for me.
