Ragnarok Online

Post by Grimmie »

Hello one and all.
Don't suppose anyone would be up for some oldskool korean MMO bunny-killing again?
Probably not on BukakkeRO, as it was a pain to manage and a bit flakey, too.

You'd be at an advantage playing on either a server managed by someone else, or the official international server.

http://iro.ragnarokonline.com has a free 15 day trial, or 45 Hours trial, whichever is achieved first.
If you liked it the last time, or fancy dicking around killing pink and green jellies again, come along.

Wasn't the great thing about BukakkeRO that we could fanny around and do what we wanted? Either way, my MMONG time is filled by Guild Wars at the moment. Sorry chap.

True.
But we can do that here, just without me being able to summon 500 wolves to kill Bobbins.
The benefit of a public server is the sheer number of player merchants, willing to sell rare items off half price.

Also, high level acolytes and priests usually come along to dish out buffs to help the entire party, as they gain experience with every spell they cast.

Subscription's only £6/Month, so I might play through the trial and see if I want to continue more.

I tend to get bored of this sort of thing quite quickly, but I'll see out the free trial with you.

Prophecies (the original)
Factions (first standalone campaign thing, meant to be all high level etc, crap)
Nightfalls (second standalone campaign, seems good so far)
Eye of the north (non-standalone expansion, adds high level content to all the other games)

As far as a 5punk RO server goes*, I'm happy to give it another go and get it properly set up etc.

give me a poke if ye desire.

*I know this isn't about a 5punkRO, but figured I should mention it's totally possible.

I'm an acolyte (healer dude) and shot2bits is a swordsman (stabby dude).
If that makes any difference at all as to what jobs you go for!

How did it go last night? Was it as entertaining as that other one we played with the tents?
